This buck has a nickname, Gunther . He's a beauty and my husband and I are having a competition. I'm 68 years old and just started deer hunting a few years ago. I only use a crossbow, but it is so much fun and I am loving every minute. Please vote for me to get this beautiful buck before my husband does! Laura

I just got permission to hunt this new farm. I set this new camera up to see what kind of deer were here. The camera was only out for a week when I checked the camera. I was pleasantly surprised. Caught some bucks sparring, then making up I guess. Lol. Thanks, cuddeback. Now I know what is here.

Pictures tell it all. We do not have racoons up here. No water for them. Yet this summer they came. Plus a feral cat that hangs out at my place. One they knocked over a cat bowl and watched as the camera caught the food falling out.

I like the picture where the bigger buck is on his back legs right over the smaller buck.

I had to choose a tree after spotting a couple of deer crossing a pipeline. I chose perfectly, even with the tall grasses I got many pics and one, in particular, was this guy in early velvet.

The deer had lost his left rear hoof and it was during last winter. Not pointing fingers however Trapping season was in. It could have been from getting into barbed wire fence as well no body knows, something pulled or broke off around 3 of leg. The weather had also been at freezing for a few days.
