I like to keep track of what is coming through my back yard. I have enjoyed observing deer behaviors and an constantly surprised at what I see. Also the difference in individual animals. I also was unaware that so much fighting went on--big pecking order in the heard.

This photo was taken in Manalapan, NJ, a wooded area where a cat colony resided. This image was unexpected, a male, female and baby deer. A deer family! Another is of the mom deer and her baby and yet another deer peeking out from the shrubs with a cat sitting there.

Buck was facing away so i had to watch him for 45 minutes w no shot. He would lift his head and look around and i made the mistake of looking at his horns too long. When he turned sideways to leave i had buck fever so bad that i knew better than to take a shot

Mama whitetail and baby. We have a large acreage and particularly enjoy watching the fawns as they arrive in the spring.
