Received one of my Christmas presents when I checked one of my trail cameras on my property I know this high spot has a deer bed down every once and a while I have captured does here in the past but this ten point was a surprise I knew he was around but it was a long shot to have him bed down and sleep a bit in front of my camera.

Been chasing this Bruiser in Highland County, Ohio for three years with zero sightings on stand. He seems to love the Cuddeback camera tho. its a never ending game of cat and mouse,if he lives to see next year he will be an absolute toad. All images are from the 2017 season.

So months ago I purchased a new Cuddeback Long Range IR, as my orginal ambush was only ever lucky to capture just one photo of something walking by. Having the 5 picture burst mode got me excited to see how many more pictures I would get. Have this crazy idea of getting a bunch of good trail camera pictures to make a collage to hang on the wall. So I set the camera up near a creek crossing that seemed like a pretty popular area for the local wildlife. And couldn't believe the nice size buck that walked by it, nice start to the new camera.

Every year on our families small 165 acre farm I love hanging up my Cuddeback trail camera. However this year, I purchased a new Long Range IR wanting the 5 picture burst mode to capture more photos. And it absolutely didn't disappoint, got several nice size bucks and even a adorable lil guy that was refreshing to see after being out shopping at a area butcher shop and seeing all the deer hanging up in the back waiting to be processed.

A buddy and I have hunted this spot a lot this year and not seen anything. All the pictures we've gotten at this spot are at night. Hoping to catching them in day light hours. It figures a doe shows up in day light hours when we had to return back to work after being off for 2 week. The does looks straight in the camera to say hello. THAT WHY ITS CALLED HUNTING.

I decided to try to set the camera out to get a photo of a fox. I always appreciate when the wildlife cooperates. Thank you Mr/Ms red fox.

My part of the state has the highest number of hunter to deer ratios and this pressure has pushed nearly all deer to be night feeding only. Nice bucks are hard to find is truly an understatement. I planted a food plot in May and had numerous deer, however November was the first picture I captured of a legal buck due to point restrictions. What is unique about this deer is that I was able to watch his health decline rather rapidly, then while checking the camera I noticed a large gaping hole in his side. He looks to have been either shot or gored. I've since had several pictures and his health appears to be getting better. Enjoy...

Pictured here is the Imposter as we were waiting for a different buck we have had on camera for the last three years to show up. He came out of the blue right after the Wisconsin gun season ended and at first we were hoping he was the buck we were waiting for, but then turned out to be bigger and better than the one we had been waiting on. He came into the field every day for the past month and the cuddeback white flash/color camera has caught over 200 beautiful pictures of the Imposter , but these were the best three we had.
