Confused why the corn crop on the far end of the property wasn't enduring as heavy deer pressure as those fields nearer the homestead, I believe I've settled on the reason. Multiple Cuddebacks revealing a number of bears and to a lessor extent other predators, likely bedding in the adjacent swamp, keeping the area stirred up.

We have limited water available to wildlife in this area so any waterhole no mater how small gets lots of action!

In the hot summer months, the deer like to use the creeks as travel corridors. So, if you have a creek on your property, get a camera on it.
