On a rainy day June 28 three of the four eggs hatched, the unhatched egg hatched the following morning by that evening on the 29th the nest was empty.

The mosquitos & deer flies have come out in full force this week. You can see the mosquitos on this buck's face & a deer fly buzzing past his ear. Unlike us they can't swat the bugs off so they have to try to shake them off.

The picture really tells the story. Just what are the odds of a Doe posing for a picture while starting to give birth? To bad you can't take videos at night with the white flash but the camera was set to a 1 minute delay and I never got another picture. During the last month I captured several shots of a doe with twins at this location but will never know if it's the same one. Also got shots of different bear at this spot probably trying to kill the fawns since they are now proven to be the number 1 fawn killer in Pennsylvania.

BRAVE SQUIRREL. The video was to large to upload but shows the squirrel getting off of the log then coming back up with the Hawk still there. One final attempt by the Hawk missed and Mr. Squirrel survived to live another day
