I was very disturbed by this photo, we have very large Coyotes in our area and we have seen what they can do to deer first hand. This is a good size adult doe who appears to have escaped an attack. Seems like a pretty serious wound unsure if she survived the injury. Photo from Southern Herkimer County, Town of Herkimer NY.

I was very disturbed by this photo, we have very large Coyotes in our area and we have seen what they can do to deer first hand. This is a good size adult doe who appears to have escaped an attack. I hope you see the humor in this photo, me and my hunting buddies. In the age of out of control selfies it is nice to see the deer are getting in on the action. The photo was taken on my 350 acre property in the Town of Herkimer, Southern Herkimer County, New York.

I set my Cuddeback camera on my most remote food plot. My land is in Southern Herkimer County lying wholly in the northern tip of the Town of Herkimer, NY. I set 1 of my 10 Cuddeback cameras up hoping to get a look at some of several big bucks whose sheds we had found this spring. Although my big bucks didn't show I was very pleased to see mama bear and her two baby cubs. Especially in the middle of the day, which reassures me that our efforts to provide a safe and secure haven for undisturbed movement of wildlife is working. even during hunting season we emphasis low impact hunting techniques.

We have had a lot of bear activity this summer! We have had this sow and cubs checking out our hog bait sites. Also they've just been lounging around the yard checking out the flowers- just being bears! Our cuddebacks definitely keep us informed on what's going on around the place :)
