Juneau County, Wisconsin along with other counties in the area were just devastated with anywhere between 13 to 20 inches of rain in a matter of just 48 hours. Although my family was fortune enough to not have any damage many other families in the area lost many personal belongings. I own 45 acres along a creek system in Juneau county and this particular camera was overlooking a very good deer runway. This picture was taken on the 28th at 3:27 am. Not long after this picture was taken my cameras were all underwater. Today I went and grabbed my cuddebac's in hopes that if they dry out will work once again especially since they are brand new. I am obsessed with whitetails, whether it be watching or hunting they seem to put me at ease. This picture just fascinated me.

We know a cattle farmer that allows us to coyote and turkey hunt. After seeing several large-bodied deer in the area during turkey season, we decided to put a couple cuddelink g series cameras in a gulley below a pasture full of oak trees nearby. Shortly after, we discovered a deer we call “new guy†while testing the cuddelink system. We may not be hunting this deer, but the behavior we’ve observed will be very useful on other properties. In the second photo, you can see a fork-horn squaring up with a 160 class ten after the larger deer had run several other small bucks away from a big oak tree. “New guy†is the deer walking away from the camera in the background.

A new Cuddeback and a newly acquired property by permission here in West Virginia paved the way to my #1 hitlist buck for 2018. It wasn't hard to tell this guy had a big set of antlers from the very first picture I got of him. He's been coming to a lone apple tree on the property and cuddeback has helped track his movemebts. I have narrowed down his bedding area in a thick deep holler coming in and out of the same trail everyday. If all goes as he's been appearing on camera, I should be setup to punch an early bow season tag this year. Thanks Cuddeback.

This is the only photo I got of this bear, but I wonder where his fur is. Don’t know if bears get mange or not. I think it’s cool to see the muscle structure on his hind quarters.
