This bruiser just showed up and had to fight the 8 point that was at the top of my list. I ended up getting the 8 point 5 days later but this one is definitely bigger. Hope to get a shot at him soon.I like the pic where hes all bristled up and the 8 is about to meet him.

“The mock scrape set up†When locating a place for my trail camera, I find a tree with low hanging branches. I then mount the camera on the trees trunk facing the overhanging branch I have chosen. I then create a bare spot on the ground under the branch using my boot heal to create a mock scrape. When the urge is right, here come the Bucks marking their territory. The Doe’s are soon to follow. I have several videos and pictures of this event using Cuddeback products over the years.

Heavy rain and flooding last December 2017 prevented getting to our stand and camera. Upon preparing for 2018 season, found this forgotten camera and got great pic of Bobcat

This was the second time this Bobcat stalked a Black Squirrel. Unknown whether it was successful in obtaining breakfast, although I have not seen the squirrel since. Two days prior to this photo being taken, I witnessed this Bobcat stalking and attempting to take this Black Squirrel. I was able to use my cell phone to record the encounter. The squirrel was able to escape up a tree.
