Often after the Roanoke County state of Virginia deer hunting season. I will remove my cameras until early spring. But this year I thought 'lets see what is out there' so that's how I capture the buck with full set of antlers in March 2019. Wow what a sight for this time of the year. I did not realize the bucks kept their horns so long. The time and month reporting on this Capture Cuddeback is correct, the date will always come up 2016. The camera is still working great along with great pictures.

This was taken on Friday November 16th, at the end of the last day of Western New York State's Regular Archery Season, with Firearms Season set to open the next morning. We got hit hard with a snowstorm that day and this doe seems to know the camera was there and is telling us that archery season isn't the only thing we can kiss goodby!

Did you hear the story about the bald eagle, the turkey vulture and the raven? No? we all came to feed at this deer carcass together. We never used to have turkey vultures around this area but now there are lots. They are a very different looking bird. It was fun to watch how they each had their pecking order at the carcass. Of course the bald eagle is king. The ravens are really brave around the eagles. I put this carcass out for the coyotes but got this neat shot of all the scavengers.

I took a road kill up to our hayfield to try and get photos and times of coyotes only to be surprised to get pictures of Bald Eagles. The skunk and fox picture is just a reminder when you know your day is about to stink.
