The first photo is on a trail on a fence line leading out to a field from the bedding area. This doe jumping the fence was captured at the perfect time. The second photo is one of the few of pictures we got of our target buck this year. It was in a snow storm in October over a mock scrape that was made in September. The mock scrape was under a tipped over birch tree. The last photo was captured over the summer just outside a bedding area, as you can tell from the logging road in the back-round. This picture we thought was very cool seeing twins trying to feed from it’s mother.

Here are some more pine critters. This red fox lives in this area and has a mate. While in my stand I have witnessed the two of them come running by my stand. The funny thing is if there is deer nearby they run the deer off. It’s almost like they are saying get out of my area and chase them away. It’s happened half a dozen times and cracks me up every time. The greys are the size of a large house cat and they chase away does and bucks. Just cracks me up. Thank god they haven’t done this with a shooter near me.

First season owning the East Texas property. Adjoining landowner said a 10 point was on my place last year. I bought the Cuddy back and 2 J series cameras. Have had a lot of activity and look forward to the daily pics. I thought this spare was a rare pic so I wanted to share it. They are not huge deer but I enjoyed building the time line with the camera data. I will upload all my pics and test out the trophy room software now that I'm getting enough pics to build out a pattern and try and ID some repeats. THANKS. Jeff Gore Greenville Texas

moved back to my home town and bought a house. Put out a camera less than a mile from my new house and got a nice surprise shortly after.

I go off the beaten path on public land into the deep backcountry to put up trail cameras. This particular photo is a 3.5 hour drive from my home and 2 miles back into a basin. It’s a monster of a trip as you can imagine to check cameras like that. These photos are some prize possessions to me because they represent the work, the sweat, the fuel money and the time away from family to hang them. Elk are magnificent and it’s a job to be able to capture them when I am not actually in the field. Letting the trail camera work for me is truly awesome! Enjoy.
