To prevent bears from tearing down my bird feeders, i strung them on a cable with a 50 foot span and twelve feed above the ground. I use my cuddle back to see what animals come in to get the fallen seed. This big black bear gave it a good try, but was unsuccessful. Bears and squirrels have both been unsuccessful for a couple years.

In the past few years I've started to get bobcat pictures - never had them before and I've had trail cameras since they were invented. This I believe is a kitten, probably born later last year. Except for some distinctive markings and the bob tail, it could easily be mistaken for a house cat.

I put a tree in a food plot in the fall for the deer to use as a licking branch. For the second year in a row the bears have been using the tree to mark their territory.

I created a mock scrape with a licking branch hung from a rope between two trees and it's been a great location to set a camera on. It certainly brings them in to investigate. The doe and fawn were framed perfectly and the little black bear couldn't resist checking it out too. I have three 30 second videos of him pulling and playing with the branch, but they're too large to submit.
