These two bucks were working the same scrape. One looks like he is worn out and has broken antler on left side.

These photos were taken within one hundred feet of my house. Photo 1 The lip curl and the snif Photo 2 The approach Photo 3 Then the breeding Notice the open sores on the back of the doe. At first I thought it was a coyote attack, but there was no bites on her flanks and shoulders. Notice where the buck's chest is at on her back, right at where the sores end.I would say this was not her first encounter with a buck.
