These images were taken on the very first time I used my Cuddeback last October on my hunting camp land in Maine. To have two different bucks licking the same licking branch in the exact same posture is unbelievable and could never be staged any better. The big guy is estimated at being 230 pounds! He survived this past season. Come on next hunting season!!

The fist picure came from two bucks that have already shed their antlers. This picture was taken while my family was watching from our window. The second buck walked by my stand the day before the season opened. I hunted this deer for 2 months before seeing him. I ended up not getting a shot at him although he was only 15 yards from me.

I bow hunted opening weekend in Jackson, NC in Northampton County on a lease that we have trophy managed for 10 years. After the morning hunt I contemplated moving a bow stand that I had located in a swamp bottom the year before. Since I had the cuddeback camera with me I thought I would put the camera in the bottom near my stand to see if anything of substantial size was moving through the bottom before moving the stand. Wow! The very next morning at 4:55am this big boy walked within 4 feet of my camera. I assume the red light flash turned his head prior to the camera flash for a perfect pose. Notice the dried velvet hanging from his left beam. My bow stand is only 12 yards away. If you notice the tree in the background of his right eye guard you will see the tree my bow stand is located in. I never saw him the rest of the season, but did not hear of him being taken. You can believe I'll be back on him in September.
