Pics 72, and 94, are of a broke horn spike in Jan 06. This spike appears to have been attacked by something. Has a very large very deep wound on its back and several on its side. My guess is that he was attacked by a pack of coyotes or possibly a large bobcat jumped on its back. Pic #4 is of the same deer just last week. He appears to be doing OK and has even put on a little weight. Hard to believe its still alive.

Attached is a strange but true pic of a deer that appears to have something on its head. Some kind of net, hanging basket, hammock or something. We have not been able to confirm what it was. Have not seen this deer again.

My dad is retired and dug a small pond by some fields we farm. My mom's name is Alice and she was not happy with his expensive retirement projects so the neighbors started calling the pond Lake Alice. This picture overlooks Lake Alice, where a we had a significant number of bucks this last summer and some Sandhill Cranes. By the way, Lake Alice is located just outside of Rib Lake.
