I had heard stories of this bear. All the neighbors had seen it but I hadn't been able to get a picture of it. A friend of ours was on a horse ride and she came across this bear with two cubs. I'm sure the cubs are just off screen....

I moved my camera from one spot where I was getting 4 to 5 pics a week of does, raccoons, etc... I moved it 100 yards West, on the edge of a cut out powerline and have been getting pictures like these ever since.

After a thunderstorm a few days before, I went to change the card in my camera. I believe that this is a picture of a lightning bolt in progress/action. I can only assume that the heat for the bolt is what tripped the camera. Also until then, my camera had been set to display my name, apple, and now the e has changed to an f... I have not tried to reset it yet.

This big guy is on a trail that is used by deer,turkey and bear. My turkey blind is 10 yards off the trail.
