A friend and I found the sheds of this animal and saw it a few times throughout the year but never got a shot. The first buck we ever had a picture of on the Cuddeback was of him.

Hello Cuddeback, I've attached the first whitetail picture for 2006 made with one of the refurb 2005 Cuddeback 3.0 units purchased from Seed N Feed. Please do keep in mind, this picture is at the lower resolution because I did not have a compact flash card at the time. Needless to say I'm impressed and very pleased even with this quality. Do take a close look to the front and sort of to the left of the buck's right front foot. Everyone that's seen the picture, see sort of a hologram, that looks something like a raccoon, weasel, cat, possum, etc., right there just in front of the bucks's right front foot. Also note the twin buck with his butt to the camera just beyond the buck at the mineral lick. I can not tell for sure, but these may be a set of TWIN TENs. BTW, this picture was made about 300 yards from my house, 5 minute walk, 25 yards or so from my stand....just right for a bow shot come Sept 23, 2006. Many thanks, Jim

I've got pics of critters I never knew I had on my place in northeast Kinney County, TX. All these were taken in a (usually) dry wash running through the place. However, there are several tinajas (cavities in the rock) that sometimes retain water, and I expect that's what drew these animals. They are, respectively, an aoudad, porcupine, and fox.

After years of using a 35 mm scouting camera, I decided to try the new Excite. I was concerned that I wouldn't be satisfied with the 2 mp pictures. But after seeing the pictures, I'm impressed. You can even see a horsefly on the deers nose. Thanks

These bucks were were photographed in my backyard in Doylestown, bucks county, Pennsylvania. We had seen an occasional deer during the day but very rare, I wanted to see what was really running through the backyard so I got a Cuddeback, now I know.
