2 bears on our property. showing them nicely walking alongside one another and a great picture of a black bear fight. You can see our camp fire ring in the background. This was only 5 hours after our departure.

I guess that it's never too early to get ready for the rut for these two young bucks in southern Minnesota! I captured this unique picture of these two young bucks trying to square off with an older Cuddeback that is still taking some great pictures. The shot was taken over my favorite micro plot on my hunting farm in Goodhue county MN. I was lucky enough to catch the shot at the perfect time...as they are both reared back on the tips of their hooves, and almost exact mirror-images of each other...my guess is that they are likely brothers. It is also very unique that they are so far apart, but I doubt that they really know what they are doing yet, or why they are doing it. The picture of these juvenile bucks will be framed and proudly displayed right next to all of my very favorite pictures of monster bucks that I have harvested or caught on camera.
