This is a shot of the dominant male bear in our neighborhood. The locals have named him Rufus. One of the local brook trout fisherman had a runin with him along the edge of the trout stream at 30 feet away. I drew my first bear tag this year after applying for the last seven years. I am going to try and take Rufus with my new Matthews switchback XT.This photo is at one of my bait sites. This is the king bear. The second photo is at my other bait site and the bear just got finished unpiling the logs for a tasty treat. It was nice getting a daytime photo.

The first picture is of a doe eating some corn I spread out for the deer and she is accompanied by a mouse just over her back on the bent over branch, the second is of a heavy beamed buck walking through a scrape I made, and the last is of a doe in a mineral lick I put out and she is accompanied by a very curious turkey
