THIS IS A TERRIBLE SITE TO SEE. VERY NICE BULL 7x7. THIS BULL WALKED THROUGH MY HUNTING AREA. THE BAD PART IS, IS THAT HE WAS SHOT OUT OF SEASON WITH THE ARROW. ABOUT 2 MONTHS OUT. I HAVE PICS BEFORE AND AFTER. A VERY SAD DEAL BUT HE SEEMS TO BE DOING OK CONSIDERING.

The first pic is of a buck we have named Captain hook because of his brow tine which starts hooking in. The second pic is of a 11 pointer that seems to be beating up on a smaller buck. Actually, the third pic is the buck that the 11 pointer is fighting in the second pic. Also, the thrid pic is a neat pic as it shows the buck going in for a possible smooch from a mature doe.

I walked into my stand around 5:15 AM and got settled in for a morning hunt in Bradford County, PA. After about 30 minutes, I heard a couple deer moving about 50 yards up the hill. At around 6:12 AM, I heard movement behind me. I looked over my left shoulder and saw what appeared to be a deer. As the animal moved closer, I could tell it was too black to be a deer... As the animal came closer, I heard a few groans and knew it was a bear. As it got to within 25 yards of my treestand, it stepped in front of where my Cuddeback Expert was set up on and the flash lit up the forest. The flash almost sent me out of my treestand! VERY few bear sightings have been reported in our particular area in Bradford County. This is a very unique situation as I was in my treestand when the bear came into range of the Cuddeback Expert. One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen in the woods. The sow's weight is approximately 250-300 pounds. Amazing experience.
