This is one of many images that the Cudde captured of this deer last season. Not only did the camera initially bring his existence to light, this photo on November 9 confirmed that he had survived the Minnesota gun season. We hunted this deer hard this season and I was fortunate enough to take him on November 7, about 125 yards from where this photo was taken. A six by five this year, he grossed 186 2/8, netted 164, weighed 288 lbs live and 242 lbs dressed. Awaiting incisor-aging to return. We surmise that he is 4 1/2-5 1/2 years old. The Cudde has helped us identify deer that we did not know existed, and also to help my two boys understand which young bucks should be off limits.

Photo #1 is a big 9 pointer I had 20 yards from my stand earlier that morning, but a swirling wind gave me away. Photo #2, he again shows up, only bleeding this time, unfortunatly from a poachers bullet,luckly a bad shot!!!! Photo #3, he is still alive!!! I again saw him 5 days later chasing does in a field, a true testament how tuff they really are. My warrior buck!

I have been using cuddeback camera's for some time to monitor deer movement in south texas. I have 8 camera's out most of the time and went to gather the cards and to see if the deer were coming to my feeders when one camera took a picture of a Mountain Lion!! Rare for Texas. Two nice 10 points working the edge of a food plot...since the rut began the big bucks have been working huge areas. These two were seen over a two miles away earlier in the day.
