I put my cuddeback camera up on July 27th not returning until July 31st. When I went to check it, there it laid. Thinking to myself, what did this and does it still work? It was a suprise to me when I found out it was a black bear and yes, the camera still works!

We have lived at our current residence for just over 2 years and have had coyotes howling numerous times very close to the house. I had never seen any, but would find dead rabits and other sign that they would leave behind. I have had the camera for a couple of weeks and was surprised to see these pictures. I will be looking forward to a full moon evening this Fall / Winter and see if I can get close and personal with them.

I have only been using my camera for 2 weeks and can not tell you how excited I was to find these pictures on it. The setup is about 250 yards from my house and I had not been seeing any deer sign. I am really pumped up about my new type of hunting . I have a number of trails to monitor and I am sure I will be adding another 1 or 2 cameras before long.
