Can you see me in the background next to the tree? I ordered a ground blind but it hadn’t been delivered yet and I really wanted to hunt that night. So I sat on the ground by a tree across from the camera and had plenty of action.

Every year I put out a big jug of peanut butter and it brings them in like flies to honey!

My first camera was a Reconyx Camera. I really enjoyed that camera and it took good photos. My parents bought me two of the same Cuddeback Cameras for Christmas about a year after I bought my Reconyx. After some time, the electronics kept getting wet in the Reconyx and it would stop working. Even after it was repaired, it happened again. I've had these cameras for years, and the Cuddebacks are still going strong and they have outlasted the Reconyx twice now. This year, I am able to hunt on some new property and these were some of the first pictures since I've had these Cuddeback out. Sadly, the Reconyx will not be joining them on the adventure this year. But I think I will be looking into Cuddebacks again in the future.

The farm bully with a very original name of half rack skirts the edge of a soybean field. Good ole half rack is taking the easy route around the edge of the soybeans while a 2.5 year old 8 pointer stands at attention and looks on. Half rack has his ears laid back and begins posturing, letting the younger buck know who is in charge.

A cow elk rubbed against my cam and pushed it around to the other side of the tree, or I would not have caught this big guy! He strutted for the camera several times before chasing after another cow elk.

This black bear looked cinnamon color from the side. I think it's the same bear in photo 3 because the time stamp is the same as the other two photos. He looks completely black when facing the camera. He may have known the cam was there and circled around to get a better look. Several animals approached the cam directly. I'm wondering if they hear the cam?
