After 4 years and over 200 cuddeback images I was able to harvest this great buck.I estimate his age age to be 7 or 8 years old.

The camera is actually 1 hour ahead b/c I couldn't get back home to set it for daylight savings time. Anyway this buck, which we saw last year(2006) during the WI bow season, came in @ 7:52am the morning before opening day of the 2007 WI gun season and then he came back @ 12:03pm and checked a hot doe right in front of the camera. I really wish I would've been in the woods that Friday! Haven't seen the deer since and we haven't heard that anybody else has harvested him either.

These two bucks have been running together for the past two months. It is now getting rut time and the dominant buck looks to be asserting his authority over the younger buck over a trail of corn. The next picture a minute later had only the bigger buck left in the picture and there were several more of the big 10 point without the younger deer. Since then we have only caught the big 10 point. He may have run the other buck off.

The picture of the deer and racoons is behind my house and the picture of the bobcat is on the trail to our deer stand where he was visiting a gut pile from a deer harvested the week before. He was on camera three nights in a row.

Taken at the family farm in southeast Alabama. Not bad for a SE Alabama deer.
