This is my first buck with a bow caught with a cuddeback 30 seconds before I harvested it. I also have pictures of one of the bucks where my uncle thought they were fighting but the buck that he shot was actually locked to a dead 8 point.

I had 7 pictures of this deer during the 2006 season, but only 1 of which was barely during shooting hours. He made it through the season but haven't gotten pics of him since. Sadly, the disease EHD had taken a significant portion of our deer population in 2007 - hopefully he wasn't one of the victims.

Picture 8-2 - The bucks on the property like to use this power pole as a rubbing / sign post. The young buck looks to be making way for the big one coming. Picture 10 - I had 7 pictures of this buck throughout the season with only 1 being barely during shooting hours. He made it through but haven't seen him since.

A rountine camera survey for population parameters revealed (1) A magnificant mature buck initiating velvet shed. (2) The same buck submitting to a more dominant male with much smaller antlers (3) A mature seven point with velt shedding well underway.

The first pic is from last year, and it is the only pic I got of this buck.He was only 8 points last year. I returned home from a hunting trip in SW TX on 12-10 and checked my cameras to see what I had missed. The other two pics were taken while I was out of town. I would have never of went hunting Tuseday evening(12-11) if it were not for the Cuddeback photos. It was 80 degrees and windy. I harvested this buck at 450 pm after ratteling for about 30 sec. Would have never had this opportunity if not for my cameras. He's a 10 point, weighed 194 lbs and has unremarkable mass and character for this area. Thanks Cuddeback!
