After the rut I like to put out a little corn in front of my camera to see what has made it through the season. We have roughly thirty pictures of this buck on the corn; we have been watching him all fall.

I shot at this deer with a muzzleloader but it didn't go off so I found the spot where he made his rubs and put out the camera.

Have not seen any big bucks hunting! Would not think they were there if I didn't have my cuddebacks! 8 point with sticker off G2! 2 times this week

This is a deer i called stubby all summer long. I got numerous pics of him and was intrigued by his leg that is missing the bottom half. He actually went down and used the stub. The second pic is what he turned out to be that year.

This deer came out of nowhere. I never knew he existed and never got to see him. None of the neighbors ever seen him either, he's the ghost buck, kind of like in the picture.

The first picture has the deer sizing each other up. The second has the deer fighting it out. I harvested the larger bodied deer the opening day of rifle season about one hundred yards from where the picture was taken.

Just another case of being glad that I have your camera in the woods, because I didn't have any idea that this guy was in my woods. He's a really nice deer for my area, Gold Hill NC. He's a 10pt and in the best picture he almost looks like he's posing for the picture.
