This buck we thought was an injury buck because of all the missing hair down the side of his body. However, on the last day of gun season a deer was seen running through a field with the large spike on the left but was missing the right side. We found the right side of that deer which had 5 points. A week later, we got a picture of this much larger deer with the same large spike on the left and the 5 points on the right. Thanks to cuddeback we know there are two different deer with this rack. Also, after studying earlier pictures from the summer we can see that they were two different deer. We never imagined having two identical non-typical bucks on our farm. The buck in this picture is the oldest one. He has better all around mass than the deer who's shed was found in the pasture last week. Without cuddeback cameras we would have never known there were two cull bucks.

I set my cuddeback on a packed down trail between a cedar bedding area and an apple orchard hoping for a nice buck to get my hopes up for next year. But instead I got this 3 legged doe that I have never seen before.
