This is a great picture of a buck just after he shed his velvet. I've had my Excite out for 3 months now and the batteries are still at 75%. I will never buy another brand of camera.

I haven't been able to check my cameras as much this year as I have in the past with the high gas prices, so I have been going 4 + weeks before checking them each time. I had this particular cam out for 6 weeks before I checked it.. I got several pics of this big 8 and happened to get this one as the last pic on the card before I checked it.. This is a buck I call Butch... I hunted him last season when he was about 135 inches.. it looks like he is in the 150 range this year and I am looking forward to going after him.. I got several pics of him last year and even some video footage.. This is the first time he has showed up this season, so I am very pleased and happy that my Cuddeback took this great photo.. I was pleased that after 6 straight weeks that my batteries still had juice left in my Excite.. Now I just hope he comes into bow range this year.

We had our back 40 logged two years ago and is now flurishing. We planted a strip of brassica and rye in one of our new clearings where this camera is located. There are a number of different animals using the draw through the food plot and has proved to be a good spot. This is the first badger we have gotten a picture of.

Late Season Pics...very dry conditions...critter pics. A little comedy...last time I checked, 20% protein doesn't help antler growth on coons or hogs! In one picture, that coon doing all the work is looking down telling his buddies... save some for me! Looking forward to 2008-09!
