I have been watching this Alberta Giant since spring, and have many pictures of him at different stages of development. He still looks like a young deer, so we will hopefully be able to let him grow another year. This picture is great as it shows the velvet coming off and looks like red dreads hanging down his forward... rasta deer!

I just don't understand it, I haven't seen any of these beautiful bucks since middle of August-'08.....I am baffled to say the least. I still have does and smaller bucks coming around, but no sign of the big boys that were regulars at the stump in August......CONFUSED?!?!?

I moved the camera to a recently discovered scrape. This deer along with two seperate six points and a spike have been regular visitors to the area.

Photo #1 I found out that some neighbors were taking daily walks past my deer stand before the season. I put a stop to that! The next two pictures show that there are other predators using the trail.

This picture was triggered by a couple nice bucks with in camera range only to also include some nicer bucks out in the field. Camera was located just under our deer stand called the Eagles Nest.

This photo was caught three days after setting up the camera near a perenial scrape on the top of a hill near farm land in Upstate NY. No action had been taken to remove any human scent from the camera before placement. My other camera had no images of deer smelling the camera, not sure what differed.
