Well this Fairy Tale has a happy ending for the one we call Mr. Nice Guy given the public display of affection for his doe friend. Yes - look closely in the background and you will see the tree stand we set on this foodplot..........unoccupied. Well at least we have some stories to tell, sheds to look for and a bigger buck to chase next year!

Perfectly timed rabbit navigating the CRP field on our Iowa Farm. Given his vertical leaping ability, I think the nick name AIR HARE is fitting.

Happy Thanksgiving from my tree stand to yours! This turkey made a camera appearance a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. They are caught on camera often, but this one decided to show off for the camera a bit!

This is the second albino buck we've had in the past few years. The first one met an untimely fate when he was a beautiful10 point 5 year old and was poached. I wish this guy a long life as, although it's rare, I'm always thrilled to see him in person while hunting.

This camera is set up at the corner of the tree lines point towards the pasture area. We notice a large portion the the stag congregating around this end so we added a feeder and a camera. Camera caught these two hinds pulling rank at the feeder for the best position.

This is a buck we call Bully . He is not the biggest buck on the farm but by far the meanest!! But in body size he is!! He got his name just for that reason, when he steps into the field the other bucks slowly turn and walk away, they want nothing to do with him!!

This is a buck that has been on the “wish list†for a couple years. He only makes a few appearances each year and they are usually at non-traditional times. I noticed last year he was blinded in his right eye from fighting during the rut. My Cuddeback caught him here as he was leaving a mid-morning doe check. If you look closely, you can see his cloudy right eye as he easily clears this fence!

This buck has been coming to my area for several years. This is the only picture I've got of him in the day light time.
