These pictures were taken in an area frequently used by Turkeys to roost. I had heard, about two weeks before season, the two gobblers cutting each other off as one would try and out do the other. I decided to set the camera on an old logging road close to where I had heard the birds. Luckily I got a beautiful picture of this gorgeous hen, along with a photo of these two old Toms cruising one afternoon.

Set up my camera in this main flydown/strutting zone trying to pattern some birds for the Michigan opener. This Big Guy keeps showing up, and this time he brought some friends! At least, he was trying make some friends!

A smaller 6 point began to dominate a larger 8 point after he lost his first antler. In this picture, he is running him away from food, and actually knocks off his remaining antler. It was the easiest shed I ever found!Loking close, you can see the antler has yet to reach the ground, and the frsh flesh showing on the former dominant buck. Jackie Burch

These are 2 nice Eastern Toms located in Missouri. These 2 ole boys were gobbling their heads off opening morning merely a week later along with many others. I'm sure they had no problem finding their mates as I have many hens on camera as well.

Placing my stand on a ridge in a new location I set up a mock scrape (not seeing any trails or sign, but the ridge gave me a good view of the woods) This 8 point came in to investigate. 3 days later my dad shot this buck in his stand 300 yards away while I was in stand with him. Other bucks came in curious of the mock scrape.
