Every spring I shift cameras to areas where waterfowl may be present. It has become one of my favorite things to do with trail cameras for sure. Day by day more Canada Geese keep showing up in this spot! As you can see in the matter of one day the water went up quite a bit.

Glad to see some nice bucks that will be great looking bucks next year. Lots of wildlife on this ridge trail. They travel through regularly along with some that use the ridge for a bedding area, and scrapes are in several spots along the trail.

I found this picture on my Cuddeback in the fall of 2016 and never came up with a conclusion what it was. The picture was taken in NE Iowa near a farm pond. Looking for subjections.

This camera is located at a spotted hyena den in a protected green space within Lilongwe city, Malawi, Southern Africa. It is part of Carnivore Research Malawi's urban carnivore research project. Southern African porcupines are frequent captures on our den cameras, and share the dens with the hyenas on a rotational movement between all the dens we monitor. Image 1 shows a porcupine chasing a young hyena away from one of the den entrances. Image 2 shows porcupines mating, a behavior we suspect is rarely seen, and potentially dangerous for the male. Image 3 shows a porcupine with a young baby, perhaps the results of the captured mating encounter.

Some more blackbirds. The redwing blackbirds are pretty cool. Also 3 crows lined up in a row.

I’m not to fond of blackbirds but I got some pretty cool pictures of them during our big snowstorm a few weeks back.

My Cuddeback cameras got some of our central Minnesota predators. It’s not always about trying to get deer. I enjoy the challenge of getting these critters.
