Every year my dad sets out his cameras to scout and see what kind of deer we have hanging around our property (Crownsville MD). This year we have several very nice pope& young hopefuls around and many young 120 class deer we will let go for another year. Between all the deer photos we came across this turkey picture. It looks like two very nice toms and a hen. This past season I was lucky enough to take a tom with an 11 1/2 inch beard and a friend shot an 11 inch beard as well. We all thought the photo was pretty neat, so I figured Id send it in to you for my dad. I dont know if you will, but if you choose to use the photo for anything, Id love to know where I could look for it. Thanks! -Rachelle

Ive got several quotes for this. 1. How do you tell an Obama supporter in the woods? 2. Which phase of the rut is this? 3. Im gonna regret this in the morning. 4. Once a spike, always a spike.

Dominance at Daylight. My capture captured this great photo of three longbeards in a springtime ritual played out all too often in the Mississippi woods. The picture was taken in February 2009 in Claiborne County, Miss.

I've been trying to capture the big boy at my favorite bow hunting spot, but instead I got this nice shot of a male Pileated Woodpecker. I guess he could qualify as a big boy...
