Photo taken on a cattle ranch and the lion is headed to water. The containers there are molasses licks for cattle feeding in the winter.

This camera set is a part of Smithsonian Institute predator survey along the Appalachian Trail near Troutville, VA. This set captured 99 photos of 8 different species in 5 weeks. Apparently this was right in an arena where a wildlife dance contest was taking place. Here is a selection of the singles contestants. The bear is doing the two step on a log, the raccoon is pole dancing and the gray squirrel is kicking its heals to the Virginia reel.

Apparently this was right in an arena where a wildlife dance contest was taking place. Here is a selection of the couples contestants. The gray foxes are break dancing despite vulgar suggestions. The bear couple is doing the polka. The other gray foxes are doing a square dance rendition of a fox trot.
