Let this 9 point go last year. Knew he would really be good this year, with 5 on one side and 4 on the other. Looks like I'll have to wait one more year since he broke one antler off. Hope he makes it another season.

This is what we like to call the ghost buck of the farm located on the Platte river near Fremont, NE. The picture makes the deer appear transparent. Lets hope this buck can stay elusive for another few years and develop into a trophy. The second picture just really gives a good look at my favorite feature of a buck. His antlers! Not sure what he was doing so close to the camera but I thought it was a great shot. With his mass, it seems like he will develop into a fine eight pointer.

Here are some photos of a buck I've been watching since end of May. Very excited about the upcoming season until a friend of mine sent me the bad news via text. Got some great pictures of him, but at least with help of your camera I know I got more. Luckily I picked him up before anyone else. I knew it was him instantly. Thanks again.

My dad and I hadn't gotten any pictures of nice bucks at all that year. We decided to set the Cuddeback No Flash up on a lightly used trail leading to a standing corn field. After one week we decided to check how many pictures there were. We were disappointed because there were only five pictures. It turned out that it is true that the big bucks use the lightly used trails because this big boy was on that trail and on our Cuddeback. The other bucks were little but at least got this big boy. Thank goodness for the No Flash because with this buck being so close, a flash may have scared him away. It turned out that in the rifle season that year, I was fortunate enough to kill that same exact buck. He was rutting so hard he snapped of the end of his left horn. Thanks to the Cuddeback No Flash I hunted hard just to get this buck.
