My sons and I went camping in the national forest by our house and hung a Cuddeback NoFlash pointing at a water hole where I have a tree stand for the upcoming elk season. This bull we named Mobey because of his huge fish tailed 5th and 6th points was the largest of 3 bulls we got film of. We are looking forward to the upcoming elk season.

Just some of the nice bucks I have captured with my cameras. I am really looking forward to hunting season this year. I have seen so many bucks thanks to this investment.

I thought I had a lot of racoons out where I hunt. Now I know I do and where they like to hang out thanks to my cameras. Plus, I know why. Thanks to to of them that are not camera shy. LOL

I have been wacthing this buck since I got my new cameras in spring. I thought for sure he was going to turn out to be much because of the growth on his face. He has surpirsed me and grown to be pretty decent. Now viewing your photo's of the week and seeing that Mississippi buck I have hope for him to get bigger if he doesn't get taken this year. Plus I think he is blind in the right eye above the tumor, because none of the IR shot reflects light on that eye.

I originally set my camera up on our feeder by our waterhole to get an idea of the quality of turkey we had coming through our place and just to see what was happening in the woods in general. I had a group of bucks that I caught on camera that were just starting the new horn growth and then got this picture of 2 of the bucks squaring off with each other on their hind feet. I have seen does and cow elk do this, but never bucks. I wasn't sure if this was a common thing or not, but I thought you would enjoy the picture anyway. P.S. thanks for picking one of my entries for your current contest. It just happened to be 2 does squaring off at the waterhole that is just 10-12 yards west of the feeder in this submitted picture.
