Its fire season in AZ and ive been lucky in previous years, but not this one. A fire went right through a spot where I have one of my cuddeback cameras. I figured i would return to a pile of melted plasic in a bear proof box, but much to my surprize the camera was still functioning. Here are the picures that the camera took of the fire, and I have others with the camera mounted on the tree that show the fire burned all around the tree the camera was mounted. I set the camera up at a corner of a bean/corn field on a treeline and caught this nocturnal Bruiser passing through.
