We have watched the battle of the deer vs. raccoons all summer! Neither seems to be afraid of the other and often look like they are in a stand off to fight for the corn!

Caught this bear on camera before he destroyed one of my cameras. Chewed the camera right off the tree!

Caught these three all at the same time in one picture. Usually they have been seen alone.

This picture was taking a week before opener. It is a nice typical 8 point that we have been watching throughout the summer. The deer is bedded down about 10 yards from the stand. The deer slept there for close to a half an hour.

Close-up of the bear in the first shot. The second shot showes he somehow turned the camera over. Even with a few teeth or claw marks in my No-flash, it still operates great.

I have only been deer hunting for 3 years now and in those 3 years have killed one buck which was rather small. Since then I have passed up several small bucks hoping that they would one day grow up into bigger deer. Unfortunately though I have not caught up to a mature buck in the woods. Actually in the last 3 months since having my cuddeback I hadn't even seen a mature buck on trail cam, just a bunch of does, fawns and young bucks. I can't tell you how bad I was praying just to see a mature buck on my trail cam. Well after having it in a new spot for about five or six days I changed the cards and found that I had 4 new pictures on it. And all those pictures were of the same shooter buck. When I looked at these pictures it was as if this buck was saying where are you camera? oh there you are and then posed for the final photo. Anyway I am pumped to know I have at least one shooter buck on my land and hopefully with your resources I will find several more!
