For the past two months we'be been using a liquid mineral, deer block and apples to lure deer to our trail that we carved out for them. We have a narrow strip of land that is just shy of 10 acres and we could see clear signs of deer trails, though we hadn't had much luck seeing deer. We setup our camera at a prime location on our trail and we were amazed how many pictures we captured in a short period of time. In a matter of one night we captured does, bucks, a raccoon, fox, a stray cat and the attached photo (a doe and her yearling still nursing). Though we haven't seen many of these creatures in person we're very excited to know how many animals are visiting our property.

Here are some pictures of two nice bucks fighting and two small bucks fighting in the same location on our Greene County IL farm. The are nice bucks but not shooters yet. The ironic thing about it is lastyear hunting for sheds on this farm we found two bucks locked together dead about 200 yards from where these pictures were taken I also have picture of them and a video of the begining of there battle. I currently have out over 20 cameras and all cuddebacks we love them and have used them for several years now..

Here are some pretty cool pictures of a velvet buck that came in to one of my stand locations, after opening day of season in IL. Yes the date is correct and he looks to be in full velvet to me and he is a nice buck for having one around in full velvet during the archery season. However it is at night and not during the day.

Here is a picture of another really nice buck that was taken ob our Greene County IL farm. I got a picture of him early in the year still in velvet, and I still haven't seen him again. I will be keeping an eye out for him. I estimated the deer to be 160 class buck and that was being conservative.

This ia a Buck we have been getting alot of pictures of on our Greene County IL farm. I have at least 10 photos of him. In early October he was traveling with two other shooter bucks and three 1 1/2 old bucks. I have pictures of him coming through a specific area every evening with these other deer and still during shooting light. A buddy of mine hunted there twice with the right wind and saw the small bucks but none of the shooters. The don't get big by being dumb. Here are three picture of him.

Last year I was introduced to a property a new friend had. As I was being given a tour, we stopped to check a stand. I got off the ATV and commented about the fresh bear scat. We walked a short distance and I was commenting on the shrubs that had been stripped of their leaves. I found another scat pile. We arrived at the stand and as my friend went to the stand, I went to inspect another bush that was stripped. I called to him and as I did a Black bear stood up on the opposite side of the bush and bolted! I screamed to scare him away. After calming down, I decided this definitely needs some scouting. I purchased a new No Flash after being repeatedly disappointed with the competitors trigger speeds and no good pics. I placed the cam in late June and left it alone until today. To my surprise, when reviewing the images I got these 2 apparently sibling cubs wrestling for about 5 minutes. They then proceeded to walk under my cam. Good thing I bought a bear safe!
