South Volusia County, Florida. At my bow hunting stand, actually a ground blind my camera captured this Floirda Black Bear nocking down my feeder and enjoying a freshly filled barrel of food. The IR camera took over 1000 pictures of him. He was there for over TWO days. Eating, rolling around, sleeping, rolling around some more and then eating again. He ate everything. Glad I wasn't in the woods at my stand those two days.

If you look closely in the first picture there is actually corn that is in mid air while this nice 10 point buck breeds this doe. The other two pictures are of an 8 point with split brow tines that I have been trying to harvest. He came in tonight (November 11, 2009) but I felt it was too dark to make the shot. I finally got him close enough but ran out of daylight. He's a smart one!

The first photo is of a buck that we've never seen in our area and we captured two pictures of him and haven't seen him since. I was in my deer stand up until about 20 minutes of him passing through the area where my stand is. His dark coat and white rack indicate that he is rather old. The third picture was taken in the evening on the same day. As the rut begins we're starting to see a lot more bucks appear on the camera and they're beginning to fight for their territory.
