This was the first time I had used A trail cam. I bought it in October, and hung it in a new acquired hunting property. I got some very impressive photos. Then on November 2nd I got a photo of a buck that I ended up hunting all season. I seen this buck three times but just couldn't get a perfect shot. I hunted nearly every day for this same buck. Then on December 11, 2009 it finally paid off. I got my 12 point!

With several pics of nice bucks taken in Buffalo County,WI.One particular caught the eye of my 16 year old son Brady. This buck whom we all named 'Tall Tine' was put on his hit list. The night before Brady and I got our chance to hunt we viewed several pics.We asked where 'Tall Tine' was spotted and were told where I would be hunting.I decided to let Brady take that spot.At 1:30 he heard a fight break out behind him.It was two smaller bucks fighting. After the one buck was chased off the winner dropped his ears.My son new another buck was coming and sure enough'Tall Tine' stepped into his scope view.Brady took squezzed off one shot into 'Tall Tine' at 150yds.The deer dropped about 75yds down the ridge from where Brady shot.'Tall Tine' is a brute. He's a main frame 9 pointer with various sticker points on both bases. His G-2's are 14 and his G-3's are 12 . He grossed 170 green score from the taxidermist. He dressed out at 196 pounds.

I have had my camera out for the past couple months and have had a variety of pictures on it like deer, coons, a few coyotes. I recently check my camera and found out what the local coyotes think about me and my camera being in their area... Glad to know what this one thinks of me and my scouting.
