First time out with the new IR camera. Deer definitely dont spook like they did with the older DC-10 deercam models

I was getting a bunch of squirrel pictures and apparently this hawk caught on and was hungry.

Western Oklahoma bucks. Earlier I submitted some photos of coons at my feeder, the first photo here is of two bucks that showed up the night after I moved my feeder to the prairie to avoid the coons wiping me out. Two pretty good ones. The buck closest to the camera I named him smiley. Passed him up the morning after this photo was taken. Morning of 11/3/09 I having harvested a really nice 10 pt. with my bow so passed on smiley. Hope he made it through the season!

Figure lots of hunters have had this experience, but when I looked at my photos I had to forward them to friends for a good laugh. When I sent these photos to hunting buddies, I called it a slight coon problem! Feeder was set up in a riparian area in Northwest Oklahoma. After this issue, I moved my feeder out to the prairie and immediately started getting just deer photos including some nice bucks. I've got a good deer hunting spot, but it appears the coon hunting could by quite good as well!
