I found a winter kill buck fawn, put my fateful cudde back Excite over it to see what was in the area, and this beautiful Red Tail hawk showed up right away

This buck probably only came through our land one time. We never saw it in person, or on any other pictures. You can see the stand in the background where I hunted out of, and my bowstand was less than 40 yards from that. The time got screwed up when we put the camera out, but this is sometime around 10-11 am.

I found a dead deer that had been chewed on and covered up by what looked like a cat. I just received a new Capture in the mail and put it near the deer hoping to get my first bobcat picture. In a weeks time I got pictures of bears, deer, a bobcat, a coyote, and a fisher.

I had my camera set up by a water hole. That had a branch hanging over it which is what this Barred owl is sitting on. The owl and the deer are only about 2 feet apart.

We do not usually get snow in central Louisiana, but in December we got 2 . This is a doe posing in the snow along with a young 8pt. I love this camera, it is great!!!

These pics where definitly a shock to us. In the 2nd picture the bobcat is completely between the deers back legs with his front paw on the deer. Also notice in the first pic the possums seem to be complete clueless as to what is going on around them. They continue to eat as the bobcat insteads choose to go after the large deer next to them.

Had three pictures of this nice buck within 3 minutes on a scrape; hunted him hard for a week, and finally killed him on Dec 28, 2009 about 45 yards from the scrape chasing a doe at 6:44 AM. Never knew to hunt him without my Cuddeback!! 10 point that green scored nearly 150 . My biggest ever!!

I found a big scrape and I really wanted to see the size of the buck that made it. My camera was out for three weeks and I got a lot of does and small bucks that visited the scrape. We had a rare snow in Alabama along with some very cold weather. I chose not to hunt that day because of the weather. I think I may have learned a good lesson from this. You can't kill that trophy buck if you allow the weather to influence your decision.
