I set my Expert up in a recently thinned section of Georgia pines. The birds are really liking the more open terrain and spend much more time in this particular area now than in the past. Looking forward to the Ga turkey season opener in March and hopefully encountering one or more of this train of gobblers!

Have been flowing this deer since 2005 when he was 2 1/2 years old. First pic is from 2007 when he was 4 1/2. Second pic is from 2008 when he was 5 1/2. Third pic is from 2009 when i took him with the bow, he was 6 1/2 years old. Had a ton of cuddyback pictures of this deer for 4 years. We called him the mule deer buck because of his four forks like a mule deer, and would you know it he lost one of his forks the year i shot him. With out cuddyback i could have never followed this deer so close over the years. I have a 1 mega-pixel camera with 35,000 lifetime pictures, i would never own a trail camera that was not a cuddyback.

Great color in this photo of this deer who has been foraging the snow for food.

Here in the dead of winter, it is nice to get a photo of with so much color. In Iowa, our deer are getting lean as much of their ground based food is buried by snow. So they have resorted to feeding on trees. Evergreens are their favorite choice. My Expert is attached to a white pine tree and this winter has seen many visitors.
