I run a Cuddeback Capture game camera year round to monitor a feeder on my ranch on the Brazos River in Milam County, Texas. While I get plenty of pictures of deer, hogs, coyotes and crows, I was really surprised to get this picture of a hawk carrying away a large snake on May 5th 2010.

Not to much to say as the proof is in the cuddeback photo. The speed on my capture is more then I ever exspected. This crow try to test the responce on the triggering speed and fail to get by the camera.

In searching for late season deer activity, I captured this owl on film.

It's still early May, and bucks are just beginning to grow their antlers. Out of a bunch of deer who regularly make an appearance, one deer in particular enjoys standing on its back legs. And, apparently, another had enough. Two deer box.
