My Cuddeback moments began when I first wanted to lease this property in Sealy, Tx. I was excited to have found a place to hunt that was close to home, so I quickly started asking my buddies if they wanted to lease with me. After being rejected 2 or 3 times from some friends of mine, 2 of my cousins decided to join in.During the first month my cuddeback took pictures of only birds, bobcats, and coyotes, but then after a month of feeding the deer finally showed up. Now that the cuddeback has taken hundreds of pictures of the deer on the property my buddies are now regretting that they too didnt get in on the lease.

These two deer are bucks standing over cracked corn and minerals. The deer on the left is a yearling button buck. The deer on the right is a more mature buck. They sure look different when they stand on their back legs. They really resemble kangaroos.

I had put out roasted soybeans due to the high protein content for the whitetails in this area. I had been getting pictures of a number of different species including a grey fox that visited quite often. I was totally suprised at what I saw when I reviewed the card. We must have some mighty tough turkeys in Pennsylvania.

The first picture shows the mother badger bringing a turkey egg for the little ones. In the second picture, the little one on the left has the egg and is starting to eat. Prior to having this camera on the badger den, I had it on a turkey nest about 75-100 yards away. When I came back to check the camera, the memory card was full and the nest was completely gone. Unfortunately, disaster had struck after the card had filled up, so I didn't know what had happened. I'm now thinking that this is one of the prime suspects. I also got a lot of raccoon pictures by this den, so predators definately weren't lacking in the area. The final picture shows the mother bringing a baby rabbit back to the den.

Here's a picture and video of the two little badgers wrestling. I was amazed at how active they were during the day.

I found a badger den on our neighbor's property earlier this spring, and after getting permission, I put on of my cameras on it. It turned out that the two young badgers were just about ready to start venturing out with their mother when I first set the camera up, so in the four days that they were still there, I got about 235 pictures of them.
