I'm not sure what made the deer run like it is but what is somewhat interesting is the time this picture was taken the temperature would have been somewhere in the 90's. It was also neat to get some turkeys with deer in the same picture.

Have seen beer scat many times recently. I have lots of wild rasberries and am sure my land is like a giant dessert bowl for wildlife. This picture is about sixty yards from my cabin front door, up on a ridge above a creek. Just on the other side of the bear the ridge drops steeply about sixty to seventy feet into a creek. I often have deer coming up from the creek bottom, right up the hill! Only have 22 acres but it is a very beautiful, diverse ecosystem.
