While feeding my cows, a neighbor stopped by and said he had seen a good deer on the back of my place. I told him I had a camera in that area, and I would check it out. Sure enough, there he was, and just after my neighbor had seen him. I didn't even notice the smaller buck to the left until I had looked at the photo several times.

I recently got permission off of a landowner who was saying he hasn't been seeing much around the farm. He agreed to let me put my cuddeback out and see what i could get. As you can see two of these bucks are in the process of losing their velvet and the very next day one of the bucks is back with no velvet left. Without my cuddeback none of this could have happened.

The bucks are starting to lose their velvet. The picture on the right has 2 bucks together and they are both hard horned. The bachelore groups of bucks will probably start separating now that they are hard horned. Can't wait for deer season!

We have been hunting this area for many years. I usually have my camera on deer locations, but after 7 years of applying, I finally got a bear tag. I was excited to see this visitor to the bear bait. It is the first bobcat I have got on my camera in 5 years.
