Put out a mock scrape hoping to see a big buck. Seems the coyotes, fox and bobcats were more interested!

I put this camera up over our water trough, since all of our stock tanks went dry. I had been seeing some pretty good bucks in the area but I had no clue anything like this was around. I though it was pretty cool that you cant tell many features about the face until you look at the reflection in the water trough.

the camera had been there for days catching plenty of deer but only 18 hrs before this photo i seen a three and a half year old bull rise from his bed and slowly walk away in the other direction away from and missing what i thought to be the optimum direction for the camera alas this yearling bull comes along to prove i was not totally wrong .

This photo was taken less than a hundred yards from where I took my 140 class buck last season. Hoping to repeat my success, my uncle and I placed one of our Capture's along a small ridge that we know bucks travel frequently, especially during the rut. After about a week I pulled the camera and loaded the images onto my photo viewer. When I saw the thumbnail image of this bruiser I thought someone was playing a joke on me. But, when I opened the photo up to its full size, I knew it was the real deal. It almost made me tear up with excitement. I immediately called my uncle to tell him about our new addition to the farm which he quickly named the Tear Jerker, or TJ for short. Without our CuddeBack we would have never known about this absolute monster!

Bears were coming in late and we had been seeing two nice sets of prints in the mud and were curious to see what size bears were making them, so we decided to put up a capture and a bear cage to catch some images. Of course we ended up with tons of high quality pictures and to our surprise we got pictures of those two bears leaving the prints at the same time fighting over the bait. What a awesome way to catch pictures of animals in the wild trying to dominate an area to take over the bait station. Thanks cuddeback for making a camera that captured these pictures for me to enjoy and hopefully all other avid bow hunters that bear hunt!!

The bobcat was around all last year then dissapeared. We thought something happened to it but obviously not. The buck is a cowhorn that got its butt kicked by our big deer and now his left horn is pointed downwards.
