This past spring my father and I built a new deerstand deep in the woods where we hunt. We have noticed many tracks in the area and decided to place our trail camera there this September. After leaving it there for a couple of weeks, we browsed through the photos to see what we captured. It appears we got a prelude to this Fall's rut.

You know how you feel after Thanksgiving dinner when all you wanna do is unsnap your pants, lie on the couch, and take a nap? I'm fairly sure this buck was feeling the same way after feasting on the apples that we put out for him. He was definitely bloated to say the least.

After getting 25+ photos in two weeks of fawns and doe, this buck struts his stuff right by the camera!
