I placed my camera on a deer trail with some fresh hooking along it. Its late September and down here in south ms. some of the bucks are just starting to loose their velvet. After a week i checked the camera and was very pleased with what the ol cuddeback revealed. I have captured thousands of deer pics. over the years and this may be the largest buck ever. If not it is by far the second largest.

I placed my camera on a deer trail that had some fresh hooking along it. Its late september and some of the bucks are just starting to loose the velvet. I was hoping to get a pic. of the buck and see what he was. After a week I checked the camera and was surprised when I saw the young bobcat walking down a log carrying a large swamp rabbit. Of the thousands of pics. I have taken over the years this is my favorite. The buck doing the hooking was a 12 5pt. I also captured the buck I will loose sleep over this season. He is just an 8pt. but is the second largest buck I have captured on camera. I will enter him in the deer catagory.

Couple of the nicest buck i've seen around the area in a while. Its good to see that they are moving around in the day. If you look at the two day pictures they are taken within 10 minutes of eachother.

We live in the Sierra Foothills. Our Cuddyback is strapped to a tree on our property but facing a known animal trail into forest land. We check our camera daily. The trail is popular for the rabbits, squirrel, fox, coyote, deer, neighbors and of course our beagle. We have a few bear and one bob cat photo. I never expected to capture a photo of a mountain lion. He is heading on the path that leads to our house. I delivered the photos to my neighbors and the local two-room school.

Three years ago I got my first picture of a black bear in southern Arkansas on this saddle. Later we started calling this stand the bear saddle. Three years later they are back!

These pictures were taken with a Wildview camera that I had to sell and then borrow to use for this contest. This year I cant afford to buy hunting clothes or scents so we will see how it works out. I have watched the deer in front of this camera and it manages to get 1 pic per every 10 that it takes. The batteries last a max of 3 days. This spot where the camera is has put as many as 80 pics on in one night but only captures about 10 to 20 percent if they are not moving too much.

Here is a photo of a small food plot i have planted for the deer and this year we have some unexpected visitors. Turkeys have found some food. Momma hen took her four babies to get something to eat and a fawn was hungry also and currious of the turkeys. Momma hen is ready to rumble protecting her babies from any type of danger.
